Drogheda

We headed up north again today and went to the town of Drogheda.  It was a great place, a very quaint town.  There were street vendors and street musicians.  There were many little shops and some terrific historical sites.  We went to St. Peter's Cathedral.  It is in the center of town.  It is famous for telling the story of Sr. Oliver Plunkett.  Several display cases and story boards are around the church and tell all about his life and his quests.  His actual head, preserved of course, is on display inside the church.  The cathedral had the most beautiful organ and stained glass windows in the front.
