Hello Everyone,

Long time no post.

Over the summer dancing takes a little and much needed break. However, before the break, the dancing gillie girl went to Nationals. This is our yearly competition and it was held in Nashville, Tenn.

In my last blog, I also introduced my youngest daughter, Erin, who dances as well.

Well, I am going to post some pictures of the girls at Nationals. The girls compete with other dancers from all over North America in their age categories. Shannon is in the under-11 age group and Erin is in the under-9 age group. Both girls did very well. Shannon got a ranking of 11th and qualifies for the Worlds competition again. We were thrilled. We will be heading to Belfast, Ireland, in April for that competition. Erin got a ranking of 6th. We were ecstatic.  Erin is too young to qualify for Worlds, but her achievement was wonderful.

We will also be taking the girls to Dublin, Ireland, in February to dance in a competition called All Irelands.  This will be Erin's first international competition. I will be blogging from there as well.

For the fall, we have several local competitions to attend. The girls are back to working hard and doing well.

In November, we will be traveling to Philadelphia for a Regional competition.    I will keep you posted.
